The simulation results shown below were created using Robin Wilson's implementation of the Werner (1995) model. The code for this implementation is availabe here.
Video 1: Barchan dune evolution
The example below shows barchan dunes evolving from a flat landscape over 1000
iterations of the Werner (1995) model.
Parameters: Size = 300 x 300, Starting value = 3, Probability of Erosion = 1, Probability of Deposition = 0.4 (with no slabs)
and 0.6 (with slabs).

Video 2: Barchanoid dune evolution
The example below shows barchanoid dunes evolving from a flat landscape over 1000
iterations of the Werner (1995) model.
Parameters: Size = 200 x 200, Starting value = 10, Probability of Erosion = 1, Probability of Deposition = 0.4 (with no slabs)
and 0.6 (with slabs).

Video 3: Altered model
The example below shows the altered model with a basin of depth 20..
Parameters: Size = 200 x 200, Basin depth = 20, Probability of Erosion = 1, Probability of Deposition = 0.4 (with no slabs)
and 0.6 (with slabs).
